For every decison, there is a fork.

You can try and look down each road, though it always seems like there is a bend or fog or it just look deceptively smooth.

I think I have an allergy to smooth. Even if my new brain is saying ‘go smooth, go smooth’, my old brain is saying ‘not interesting that smooth road….not interesting.’ Kind of like the interiors I designed, lots of layers…..complicated behind the scenes and when installed “smooth and useful.

One of my favourite movie lines is Jeff Spicoli in Fast-Times at Ridgemont High, he is driving the football players new Trans Am (or Camaro, don’t remember which) and he wrecks it-smashs it. He gets out and calmly says, “I can fix it, my dad has tools, he’s a TV repairman”.

The eternal optimist in me says more hard work and we can push through. There is a summit somewhere. My map right now is one of those 1:250,000, like the ones we got in Borneo from the 50’s-60’s. The world view is very big right now. List of things to accomplish in the next 24 days.

2. Move
3. Make money
